Students at Norwegian universities and colleges can apply for funding for courses and conferences organised by the European Space Agency (ESA). You do not need to be a member of NORSTEC or a member organisation.

NORSTEC only covers the part of the costs that ESA does not cover. You can normally receive up to NOK 5,000. Applications are processed in the order they are received, until the funding pot is used up.

The funding is paid out as a refund of documented costs, not in advance. Receipts must be sent by 1 December 2026, and a short report within 30 days after the activity (no later than 10 January 2027).
