Pathway Rideshare

From Satellite to Orbit

Facilitating rideshare opportunities

Sattelite in space

The Pathway Rideshare is a program that facilitates rideshare opportunities for student satellite projects. The Rideshare program provides students with the opportunity to share the cost of launching their satellites into space. The Rideshare program is open to students from all over Norway and is designed to help students develop the skills they need to succeed in the space industry.

Participants will learn about the logistics of satellite launches, including payload integration, scheduling, and regulatory compliance. The program also offers mentorship from professionals in the space industry, helping students navigate the complexities of satellite development and launch. By participating in the Rideshare program, students can achieve their goals of sending satellites into orbit while minimizing costs.

Lowering the barrier to orbit

Launching a satellite should be challenging for the right reasons, not because of cost or complexity. Pathway Rideshare helps student teams navigate launch options, requirements, and regulations, so more projects can reach space.

How we help students reach space

The first step in our plan is to facilitate rideshare opportunities for student satellite projects. This allows students to share the cost of launching their satellites into space, making it more affordable for everyone involved.

The second step is to provide mentorship and guidance throughout the process of developing and launching a satellite. This includes help with payload integration, scheduling, and regulatory compliance.

The final step is to connect students with industry professionals and resources that can help them succeed in the space industry. This includes networking opportunities, technical workshops, and access to state-of-the-art facilities.
